A National Merit and a William Hearst Foundation scholar during his years in Yale, Tup Ingram excelled in his academic endeavors. He graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Mathematics and Philosophy. Tup moved to Dallas, Texas, attending the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, where he was Southwestern Foundation scholar and an Academic Excellence Awardee by the Department of Surgery.

Tup Ingram, M.D., is a reconstructive and plastic surgeon, focusing his practice on reconstruction and cosmetic surgery. He completed his residencies in general and plastic surgery in the Southwestern Medical Center and took many fellowships abroad to further hone his skills in his chosen field. Raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Tup is currently based in Nashville, Tennessee, where he practices as a cosmetic surgeon.

In the past, Tup had worked with various nonprofit organizations such as Operation Smile, Habitat for Humanity, the Viennese Opera Ball of New York City, and Doctors Without Borders. He is currently involved with the American Medical Association, American Academy for Cosmetic Surgery, and Tennessee Medical Association. Tup enjoys scuba diving, exercising, and flying.
